The nymphs of Stictolampra lurida are quite common on riverbanks in Borneo, this one was photographed near Bau, in Sarawak. It is a semi-aquatic species: the nymphs in particular will run into water and cling to stones on the bottom of the river to evade capture. I have reared this species and, at least in captivity, the adults will also hide underwater. Photo copyright Phil Bragg.
