On some taxon pages only. See http://lysianassidae.myspecies.info/taxonomy/term/1347 for example.
On other pages, e.g.http://lysianassidae.myspecies.info/taxonomy/term/1351 it is fine. Can't seem to find the reason for this to fix it.

In specimen/observation nodes entering special characters (!, $, , x%x, ...) in the 'collection code' or 'catalogue number' results in a generic "error" message.
Tested by entering single and triple special characters.
The migration of biological vocabularies needs to be updated to use the new field collection vernacular names.
Update the emonocot default views to use the new field collection vernacular names field.
This tab should displays pages tagged with the term.

Please email to Katja Schulz schulzk@si.edu or expose in a general service that EOL can check.
There seems to be no editor plugin or formatter for changing the author uid of content. That would be nice to have and be able to change all pages authors from me to someone else via grid
Otherwise we can't easily reference users that don't have a login. Something similar has been done for taxonomy term reference, we just need to do it for users too.
The label to indicate a botanical classification reads "Plants/Fungi" and should read "algae/fungi/plants" to be in line with the latest code.
Only 12 images are now listed in the image file for the families scratchpad. There are 180 in the media gallery.
Thanks

In the newly generated DwCA from the families scratchpad (11th Feb at 15:45) the taxon Id column is now empty again, This means images will not get attached to a taxon when they are imported into the portal.
Not sure if this will be fixed by issue 2353.
Thanks
Sarah
Develop and implement update path from old vernacular names to new vernacular names collection such that sites currently with vernacular names in taxonomies don't ost them and are able to use the new vernacular names collections
This may be related to task #2001: I think that there should be a third state for "Usage" of taxonomic names. In addition to "accepted" and "not accepted" it would be good to have something like "undecided". I have imported thousands of names from TROPICOS, and it will take years (or decades) to decide about the status of all of them. When the data were imported, the "Usage" was automatically set to "accepted", but of course most of the names will not be accepted. This has already led to some misunderstandings. Therefore, it would be best to have the status "undecided" as default. If that would be possible, I even would appreciate that the status be changed to "undecided" for all names for which no other data besides the name and its author have been entered so far.
I just noticed that the Nomenclature block (i.e., all data that we entered about a species) is visible only when I'm logged in. Can I change that somewhere, so that the data are visible for any user?
In many classifications (especially large ones) unaccepted names outnumber by far the currently accepted ones. As a result it becomes extremely difficult to navigate through the tree and also understand the taxonomic treatment proposed by the maintainer.
It would be very useful if there was an option (at the top of the classification tree) to show only the accepted terms of a taxonomy.
Maybe a tickbox?
